Do you know of an Emergent Church Blog Carnavels? I am trying to find more blogs that are talking about this idea but I keep running into this one and "More than stone", though that is nice its limited.

Also I don't know what browser you use, but things are floating around everywhere on this page in firefox (, just thought you might want to know since most bloggers use firefox.

i have not heard of Emergent Church Blog Carnavels (Carnival? having to do with the celebrations just before Lent?)

This sounds a bit fun! You may try some blogs on my blog roll like

Tallskinnykikwi (Andrew Jones)
Thin Spaces (Daren)

As far as the Blog... it looks good until one goes to the perm link page (as in when you post comments) it then gets a bit whacked. Sorry even it does this even on IE7 which is my main browser... I am not too strong in the website development dept... though I liked this template and had done a lot to it... which makes it hard to just change to a new one and fix it....

I am thinking of moving over to Blogger beta but it seems like my stats have almost tripled as of the last three months... so I don't think the timing is right...

I hope that you might find more info...and when you do let me know as I think that any time is a great time to celebrate!

Carnival having to do with blogging. Its where a bunch of blogger submit posts and every month (or other period of time) they are compilled and posted on a host site. It makes for a good way to get a lot of people who are thinking about the same things to talk to each other. Kind of like a round table... that might be a good name for an EC carnival.

What were you thinking with carnival before lent?

Thanks for those blogs, I will check them out.

I know they are out there... I am part of one that did not really take off called "soapbox"...

The closest thing woulb some agrogate sites like brother maynards.

Carnival is a a celebration before lent... sort of a last chance to do whatever before I give it up for lent... at least that is what I understand... i may be wrong.

Open source theology is another site that i link to...

I hope you find what you are looking for...
