Ken Silva Lies about Richard Abanes Lawsuit

I found this very interesting as recently Ingrid contacted lawyers to make a website that talked bout her personal life when she was in high school shut down. Not one word about 1 Corinthians 6 was mentioned by the Online Discernment Ministries. Yet, it seems author Richard Abanes had enough of Ken Silva's lies and slander and asked Ken Silva's ISP to help put a stop to Ken's ongoing assault.

Ken Silva still continues the lie that Richard Abanes is threatening a lawsuit.

Interestingly one of the people who overlooked Ingrid's actual using a lawyer seems to be a bit disgruntled at all this. Pastorboy aka John Chisham had these words with Richard over this.

Richard,

It tells me that you are way too concerned with man’s laws, because you feel hurt. I get that.
But just because you perceive that a brother has wronged you and has violated scripture, does that mean you get to violate scripture to get back at him?
just wondering. (source: http://christianresearchnetwork.info/submissions-2/#comment-66908)

Richard reminds Pastorboy that he only contacted Ken's ISP and did not contact a lawyer. This fact seem lost on Pastorboy.
Once again, one standard for themselves and another for those they attack.

This highlights the high hypocrisy of the ODM as they turn their backs on one who does use a lawyer to shut down website and then attack someone who simply asks an ISP to shut down a website that has lies and slander as "research".

Ken also runs Christian Research Network.

Iggy,
My comments on other comments on OP's are copyrighted, so you are violating copyright laws.

Yes, you are right. That is really gay to bring that up.

If he did threaten to call his lawyers about naming an ISP in a possible lawsuit, is that a lie, or was that his intention?

Only God knows.

Still waiting on where I called you a gambler, Carlos.

John,

I gave more than enough proper citation... I went overboard. Let them know and if I did not do enough, then I will remove your comments, yet I suspect they will agree that the use of the comments with the proper citation is not breaking any copyrights... did you give the proper citation on the "quotes" by me on you blog... I suspect you still have not.

You implied that when I found the 1 billion dollar bill outside a casino that I was there to do something other than deliver a paper... you know you did that... so please when will your slanderous innuendos end?

Peace,
iggy

Oh, and did you call Ingrid and tell her that it was wrong to use a lawyer to threaten to sue that one website?

Again, you set one standard for others and give others slack... then you go and call others hypocrites? LOL!

"Romans 2

1. You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
2. Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
3. So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment?
4. Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?"

This Open Letter to Steve Camp outlines my initial thoughts/intentions/motivation for writing to Ken Silva's ISP.

It also covers various issues relating to the "Ken Silva vs. Richard Abanes" controversy, including:

1. Bible Study notes on key passages being discussed,
2. the actual contents of my email to Silva's ISP,
3. observations about the current state of the church,
4. an indictment of today's so-called Online Discernment Ministries, and
5. documentation of Ken Silva’s violation of federal copyright/privacy laws, and other issues.

The open letter should answer most questions and addressed the widely-read article by Steve Camp titled "Battles in the Blogsphere."

This is my final word on the issue. Those who have ears to hear, and eyes to see, will both hear and see the truth.
